How do you create a car brand that not only sells cars, but also changes how we think mobility in the city? ACE came to us with a vision: make city driving easier, smarter and cheaper. The result was the Swipp, a flexible electric city car that makes it easy to opt out of tolls, expensive insurance and parking stress. Cure has been with us all the way. From brand strategy and name development to visual identity, web pages and launch campaign.
Name and brand built on the merits of the car
Swipp needed a strong name that could emphasize the concept and be remembered. We landed on Swipp. Short, energetic and full of movement. A name that is easy to say, easy to remember and easy to use in everyday speech. “I'm swiping to the store.” “We're swiping to the mountains.” The name builds on an expression we already know: to flick somewhere. Now we're swiping in the electric car. Swipp is small in size, and precisely that is the car's greatest strength. We chose to emphasize that in our visual identity. The typography is compact, just like the car, but at the same time clear and confident in shape. The colors are fresh and flexible. Communication is honest, sober and concrete.Less car. More freedom. No tolls. No EU control. Affordable insurance. Easy to own, easy to share.
Cure has been an incredibly good collaborator from start to finish. They challenged us on the right things and helped us find a name and identity that feels just right to us. A digital experience that lowers the threshold
At swipp.no we developed a simple and conversion-friendly website that puts the user first. Clear price, clear benefits and quick access to a test drive. The goal was simple: make testing Swipp as easy as ordering takeaway.Together with ACE, we also developed strategy, campaign structure and ad content for Meta, TikTok, Google and Schibsted. We analyzed audiences and produced content that shows the car and all its advantages in the form of short film snippets and clear ads with key info.
